Club Members Please Note:
We will be holding a club meeting on the 7th of September which we hope all club members will be able to attend. If you have any points, issues, suggestions you wish to raise at the meeting please let us know (Don, Eiann, Allen, Sue).
We hope to discuss the website, club colours and team wear, Equipment, general club stuff, etc...Anything at all.
Please do try to attend, or send your suggestions/points with someone you know will attend if you cannot make it.
Keep a look out at the "Calendar" events on the website for details on where and when, or check this news bulletin for updates....and The best way to put any ideas forward for the meeting (whether you can attend or not) is to post a reply to this news article on the website.
If you haven't yet registered with the forum please give it a try. Allen or I will try to help if you have any difficulties or are a bit unsure about how things work.
Many thanks to everyone
Eiann

I will get the ball rolling here, so that people can see how it is done. I will be raising matters regarding the website, and advising people who are having any problems with accessing any part of the site. If you have a particular issue, you can of course post it on the forum, or in this post.

I have setup a server on my computer so that I can give a bit of guidance on the website without having to be connected to the internet (unfortunately the scout hut is not online at this time), most of the website, and forum features are working ok. I think it might be worth me, and Eiann talking through some of the features of the website, after the meeting and provide some help to people who need it.
There are a few points I wanted to bring up at the meeting:
1."Press Officer" - Do we need one, would anyone like to do it. (Raises the profile of the club, by keeping contact with sports editor/journalist and asking them to publish results of competitions, and club events etc.) - Recommended on the GNAS website under "Development"
2.GNAS ClubMark "The newly launched GNAS clubmark.
A Nationally recognised accreditation scheme for National Governing Body, a sporting kitemark.
Clubmark is a cross-sport recognition of sports clubs that are committed to providing a safe, effective, child-friendly environment." - Could provide a good direction for the club to move towards.
3. Club Constitution = Needs updating
