Beginners' Course *£25
The beginners' course is designed for anybody who is new to archery.It teaches the basic archery technique and, most importantly, the safety aspects involved with archery. You will also learn about the various equipment used, and we can advise on possible places to purchase this equipment if you decide to continue the sport. The beginners' course will provide you with a sound foundation for developing your archery skills, in a safe and enjoyable way.
The course lasts for six weeks with one lesson per week, and the use of the clubs training equipment is included in the £25 course cost. All equipment is provided for you, but as we shoot on a field it is advisable to wear suitable footwear and sensible clothing (but not loose clothing that might interfere with the shooting of the bow).
Junior archers (from eight years old) are very welcome, and strongly encouraged, but we do require anybody under the age of eighteen to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
